Piega R forged aluminium wheel (race use only/for track use only):

The PIEGA R series features the innovative “C-section” and is designed for teams, riders and championships where wheel performance plays a significant role.

A very competitive set of wheels which - compared to the most commonly used and also older designs of forged rims - offers more advantages in terms of mass, weight and stiffness.

The single-cast Piega R series impresses with its lightness. The design of the hub, the mountings for the chain and brake disc are each tailored to the requirements of the individual race bikes.
The anodisation of the surface also contributes to minimising weight. The wheels can undergo a special bal shot blasting procedure to further improve the already impressive service life of the wheels.

OZ rims are interchangeable with the original rims. For the rear wheel, only the rear sprocket needs to be replaced (except for single-sided swingarms).

All necessary components are included in the set.
- Scope of supply front wheel: bearings, bearing bushes, spacing washers, angle valve, brake disc mount
- Scope of supply rear wheel: bearings, bearing bushes, spacing washers, angle valve, brake disc mount, rear sprocket carrier, cush drive rubbers
- Scope of supply rear wheel single-sided swingarm: angle valve

For the highest demands, the wheels in the area of the rim and the hub can also be specially manufactured according to team specifications. Requirements regarding weight, mass and stiffness can be taken into account in particular. Prices and minimum quantities on request.

Both front and rear wheel can optionally be equipped with an anti-slip coating to prevent the tire from twisting on the rim during extreme acceleration. The Piega R is of course also available for single-sided swingarms. The PIEGA R series is a forged aluminium racing rim in an optimised 5-spoke design and is recommended for track use.
