General description

Piega R aluminium forged rim (race use only):

The PIEGA R series is equipped with the innovative "C-section" and is predestined for teams, riders and championships where the performance of the fronts plays a significant role.

A very competitive set of fronts which - compared to the most commonly used and older designs of forged rims - offers more advantages in terms of mass, weight and stiffness.

The single-cast Piega R series impresses with its lightness. The design of the hub, the mountings of the chain and brake disc are individually tailored to the requirements of the respective race bikes.
The anodisation of the surface also contributes to minimising the weight. The fronts can be subjected to a special bal blasting procedure to further improve the already impressive service life of the fronts.

OZ rims are interchangeable with the original rims. For the rear wheel, only the rear sprocket needs to be replaced (except for single-sided swingarms).

All necessary components are included in the set.
- Scope of delivery for front wheel: bearings, bearing bushes, spacing washers, angle valve, brake disc mount
- Scope of delivery for rear wheel: bearings, bearing bushes, spacing washers, angle valve, brake disc mount, rear sprocket carrier, cush drive rubbers
- Scope of delivery for rear wheel single-sided swingarm: angle valve

For the highest demands, the fronts in the area of the rim and hub can also be specially manufactured according to team specifications. In particular, requirements regarding weight, mass and stiffness can be taken into account. Prices and minimum quantities on request.

Both front and rear wheel can be optionally equipped with an anti-slip coating to prevent the tire from twisting on the rim during extreme acceleration. The Piega R is, of course, also available for single-sided swingarms.
