General Description

Piega R aluminium forged rim (for race use only):


The PIEGA R series is equipped with the innovative “C-section” and is predestined for teams, riders, and championships where rim performance plays a “significant” role.


A very competitive set of rims which - compared to the most commonly used and older designs of forged rims - offers more advantages in terms of mass, weight, and stiffness.


The one-piece cast Piega R series impresses with its lightness. The design of the hub, the mountings of the chain sprocket and brake disc are each adapted to the requirements of the individual race bikes.

The anodisation of the surface also contributes to weight minimisation. The rims can undergo a special bal blasting procedure to further improve the already impressive service life of the rims.


OZ rims are interchangeable with the original rims. For the rear wheel, only the rear sprocket needs to be replaced (except for single-sided swingarms).


All necessary components are included in the set.

For the highest demands, the rims and hubs can also be specially manufactured according to team specifications. In particular, requirements regarding weight, mass, and stiffness can be taken into account. Prices and minimum quantities on request.


Both front and rear wheel can be optionally equipped with an anti-slip coating to prevent the tire from rotating on the rim during extreme acceleration. The Piega R is, of course, also available for single-sided swingarms.
