General Description

Piega R Aluminium Forged Wheel (race use only):

The PIEGA R series features the innovative “C-section” and is predestined for teams, riders and championships where wheel performance plays a significant role.

A highly competitive set of wheels that offers more advantages in terms of mass, weight and stiffness compared to the most commonly used and older designs of forged rims.

The Piega R series, made from a single cast, impresses with its lightness. The design of the hub, the mountings of the chain and brake disc are each adapted to the requirements of the individual race bikes.
The anodisation of the surface also contributes to minimising weight. The wheels can undergo a special bal blasting procedure to further improve the already convincing service life of the wheels.

OZ rims are interchangeable with the original rims. For the rear wheel, only the rear sprocket needs to be replaced (except for single-sided swingarm).

All necessary components are included in the set.
- Scope of delivery front wheel: Bearings, bearing bushes, spacing washers, angle valve, brake disc mounting
- Scope of delivery rear wheel: Bearings, bearing bushes, spacing washers, angle valve, brake disc mounting, rear sprocket carrierr, cush drive rubbers
- Scope of delivery rear wheel single-sided swingarm: angle valve

For the highest demands, the wheels in the area of the rim and the hub can also be specially manufactured according to team specifications. In particular, requirements regarding weight, mass and stiffness can be taken into account. Prices and minimum quantities on request.

Both front and rear wheel can be fitted with an anti-slip coating on request to prevent the rotation of the tire on the rim during extreme acceleration. The Piega R is, of course, also available for single-sided swingarms.
