General description

Piega R aluminium forged rim (race use only):

The PIEGA R series is equipped with the innovative “C-section” and is predestined for teams, riders, and championships where wheel performance plays a “significant” role.

A highly competitive set of wheels which – compared to the most commonly used and older designs of forged rim – offers more advantages in terms of mass, weight, and stiffness.

The single-piece Piega R series impresses with its lightness. The hub design, the mounting of the chain sprocket and brake disc are each adapted to the requirements of the individual race bikes.
The anodisation of the surface also contributes to further weight minimisation. The wheels can be subjected to a special bal blasting procedure to further improve the already impressive service life of the wheels.

OZ rim are interchangeable with the original rim. For the rear wheel, only the rear sprocket needs to be replaced (except for single-sided swingarms).

All necessary components are included in the set.
- Scope of delivery front wheel: bearings, bearing bushes, spacing washers, angle valve, brake disc mount
- Scope of delivery rear wheel: bearings, bearing bushes, spacing washers, angle valve, brake disc mount, rear sprocket carrierr, cush drive rubber
- Scope of delivery rear wheel single-sided swingarm: angle valve

For the highest demands, the wheels in the area of the rim and the hub can also be specially manufactured according to team specifications. In particular, requirements regarding weight, mass, and stiffness can be taken into account. Prices and minimum quantities available upon request.

Both front and rear wheel can be optionally equipped with an anti-slip coating to prevent the tire from twisting on the rim during extreme acceleration. The Piega R is, of course, also available for single-sided swingarms.
