The new SD20 Road & Track steering damper with piston technology features a larger cylinder and piston, allowing for tighter tolerances and a more efficient design. With its exclusive cylinder valve design, inspired by our racing applications and the electronic steering damper (EC), it significantly improves riding comfort. Unlike a conventional needle valve, the cylinder valve has a series of openings limited by an edge inside the cylinder to balance the forces acting on the damper. This allows for faster setting and greater sensitivity and responsiveness in both the low and high adjustment ranges.This universal version of our SD20 steering damper (SD20 004) has a 150 mm stroke.
The new SD20 steering damper has been developed to improve agility and power, performance in all conditions and riding situations.
