General description

The Öhlins FKA Cartridge Kits for adventure bikes are based on NIX technology, which is also used in our streetn and racing products. Öhlins Cartridge Kits increase the comfort and performance of your adventure bike.

After replacing the complete internal components of the original fork with the Öhlins Cartridge Kit, it is adjustable in spring preload and damping. Rebound and compression damping are housed in a separate fork tube. A hydraulic stop prevents the fork from bottoming out. In addition, various spring raten are available, allowing for adaptation to the rider's individual preferences.

The fork springs and oil must be ordered separately. Information on selecting the recommended spring rate can be found in the installation instructions.

Öhlins cartridge systems are designed for installation in the standard fork and are supplied without springn. The fork springs must be ordered separately, depending on rider weight and intended use. Information on selecting the spring rate and the correct fork oil can be found in the installation instructions for the respective cartridge kit.

Required tools

Various tools are required for the professional installation of the cartridge kit. These are not included in the scope of delivery and can also be ordered via the Alphatechnik online shop.
