Product details
Ilmberger Carbon mudguard rear for off-road tire BMW R nineT, with ABE according to the usage listGeneral description
The very attractive rear wheel cover for the R nineT Urban GS and Scrambler is specially designed for off-road tire and is bolted to the vehicle's cardan housing using the original screws. This fastening is so ingenious and simple that it was confirmed and protected by the German Patent Office. The length of the rear wheel cover was chosen so that not only is the soiling of the motorcycle significantly reduced, but your shock absorber will also benefit from relief from stone chips, dirt and "sandblasting". Specifically, the service life of the seal and piston rod of the shock absorber is significantly increased by fitting an efficient rear wheel cover. The special design of the rear wheel cover significantly reduces the soiling of the motorcycle by the rear wheel. The specific shape of the cover is model-specific and chosen so that standard chassis or tire variants are taken into account. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and in the next step, as is customary for us, coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences.
This plastic coating significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance and durability. But the coating not only scores technically, it also significantly enhances the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
