The matt carbon sprocket cover for the Ducati Scrambler 1100 from 2017 onwards is bolted to existing mounting points on the vehicle.The parts are mounted using original mounting. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from pre-preg material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and then covered with a clear plastic coating for protection against environmental influences. This plastic coating significantly outperforms the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance and durability. However, the coating not only scores technically, but also clearly emphasises the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
