General Description

Designers of particularly sports-oriented motorcycles with extremely low weight and extreme steering head angles regularly encounter strong influences of shimmy (handlebarflattern) and kick-back (handlebarschlagen) – phenomena that impair riding pleasure and safety.
To get these influences under control, a steering damper is used in racing. LSL also offers this instrument for use on street.
The correct mounting of the steering damper is crucial for its optimal power, performance and flawless function. LSL therefore develops individual attachment, brackets for each model. The steering damper kits are equipped with model-specific type approvals, and installation is precisely described in a comprehensive mounting instruction.
