Product details

LSL Steering Damper Kit with Type Approval for Triumph Thruxton R, model year 2016-, black, scope of delivery: steering damper with mounting material

General description

LSL steering damper kit with type approval
The designers of particularly sport-oriented motorcycles with extremely low weight and extreme steering head angles regularly encounter severe influences of shimmy (handlebarflattern) and kick-back (handlebarschlagen) – phenomena that impair riding pleasure and safety.
To get these influences under control, steering dampers are used in racing. LSL also offers this instrument for use on the street.
The correct installation of the steering damper is of crucial importance for its optimal power, performance and faultless function. LSL therefore develops individual attachment, bracket for each model. The steering damper kits are equipped with model-specific type approvals, and installation is precisely described in a comprehensive mounting instruction.
