General Description

LSL steering damper kit with type approval.
The designers of particularly sports-oriented motorcycles, with extremely low weight and extreme headstock angles, regularly encounter strong influences of shimmy (handlebarflattern) and kick-back (handlebarschlagen) – phenomena that impair riding pleasure and safety.
To control these influences, steering dampers are used in racing. LSL also offers this instrument for use on street.
The correct installation of the steering damper is crucial for its optimal power, performance and flawless function. LSL therefore develops individual attachment, bracket for each model. The steering damper kits are equipped with model-specific type approvals, and installation is precisely described in a comprehensive mounting instruction.
