LSL steering dampersDesigners of particularly sports-oriented motorcycles, with extremely low weight and extreme steering head angles, regularly encounter strong influences from shimmy (handlebarflattern) and kick-back (handlebarschlagen) – phenomena that impair riding pleasure and safety.
To get these influences under control, steering dampers are used in racing. LSL offers this instrument for use on the street.
Correct installation of the steering damper is crucial for its optimal power, performance and flawless function. LSL therefore develops individual attachment, brackets for each model. The steering damper kits are equipped with model-specific type approvals, and installation is precisely described in a mounting instruction manual.
Titanium version:
The compact, race-proven version consists of a titanium anodised, round damper cartridge with an 8mm diameter damper rod.
The damping is adjustable in 7 stages.
