Regularly, constructors of particularly sport-oriented motorcycles with extremely low weight and extreme steering head angles encounter severe influence from shimmy (handlebarflattern) and kick-back (handlebarschlagen) – phenomena that impair riding pleasure and safety.
To get these influences under control, steering dampers are used in racing. LSL also offers this instrument for use on the street.
The correct mounting of the steering damper is of crucial importance for its optimal power, performance and faultless function. LSL therefore develops individual attachment, bracketen for each model. The steering damper kits are equipped with model-specific parts certificates, and mounting is precisely described in comprehensive installation instructions.
