LSL Steering DampersManufacturers of particularly sport-oriented motorcycles, with extremely low weight and extreme steering head angles, regularly encounter strong influences of shimmy (handlebarflutter) and kick-back (handlebarslap) – phenomena that impair riding pleasure and safety. To control these influences, steering dampers are used in racing. LSL offers this instrument for use on the street. The correct installation of the steering damper is crucial for its optimal power, performance and flawless function. LSL therefore develops individual attachment, bracket for each model. The steering damper kits are equipped with model-specific part certificates; the assembly is precisely described in a fitting instruction manual.
Titanium Version:
The compact, race-proven version consists of a titanium anodised, round damper cartridge with an 8mm diameter damper rod.
The damping is adjustable in 7 stages.
