LSL Steering Damper Kit with Component Certificate
Designers of particularly sports-oriented motorcycles, with extremely low weight and extreme steering head angles, regularly encounter significant influence from shimmy (handlebarflattern) and kick-back (handlebarschlagen) — phenomena that impair riding pleasure and safety.
To manage these influences, a steering damper is used in racing. LSL also offers this instrument for use on the street.
The correct installation of the steering damper is crucial for its optimal power, performance and fault-free function. LSL therefore develops individual attachment, bracket for each model. The steering damper kits are equipped with model-specific component certificates, and installation is precisely described in a comprehensive mounting instruction manual.
