LSL Steering Damper Kit with Component Approval
Designers of particularly sports-oriented motorcycles, with extremely low weight and extreme steering head angles, regularly encounter strong influences of shimmy (handlebarwobble) and kick-back (handlebarkickback) – phenomena that impair riding pleasure and safety.
To get these influences under control, a steering damper is used in racing. LSL also offers this instrument for use on the street.
The correct attachment of the steering damper is of decisive importance for its optimal power, performance and flawless function. LSL therefore develops individual attachment, bracket for each model. The steering damper kits are equipped with model-specific component approvals, and installation is precisely described in comprehensive fitting instructions.
