LSL steering damper kit with component approval
Regularly, designers of particularly sports-oriented motorcycles with extremely low weight and extreme steering head angles encounter strong influences of shimmy (handlebarflutter) and kick-back (handlebarrecoil) – phenomena that impair riding pleasure and safety.
To get these influences under control, a steering damper is used in racing. LSL also offers this instrument for use on the street.
The correct installation of the steering damper is crucial for its optimal power, performance and faultless function. LSL therefore develops individual attachment, brackets for each model. The steering damper kits are equipped with model-specific component approvals, and the assembly is precisely described in comprehensive mounting instructions.
