LSL steering damper kit with component approval.
Regularly, designers of particularly sporty motorcycles with extremely low weight and extreme steering head angles encounter significant influence from shimmy (handlebarflattern) and kick-back (handlebarschlagen) – phenomena that impair riding pleasure and safety.
To get these influences under control, steering dampers are used in racing. LSL also offers this instrument for use on the street.
Correct installation of the steering damper is crucial for its optimal power, performance and flawless function. LSL therefore develops individual attachment, bracket for each model. The steering damper kits are equipped with model-specific component approvals, and installation is precisely described in a comprehensive mounting instruction manual.
