General Description

The matt carbon windscreen for the Ducati Multistrada DVT (from model year 2015) and the Multistrada Enduro (from model year 2016) replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The carbon windscreen gives the Multistrada a distinctly sporty look, without neglecting its function. While the windscreen does not offer the same wind screen as the original touring screen, the upper body is still effectively relieved. The raw power of the engine becomes even more directly noticeable, and with its new, lowered front, the Multistrada appears significantly more aggressive than in its standard trim. In its matt finish, the windscreen perfectly matches the original Ducati Performance carbon parts, which are also supplied with a matt surface. Naturally, weight savings (typically around 70% compared to the original component) and increased rigidity are also key priorities. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, as is customary for us, was then coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But the coating doesn't just score points technically; it also clearly emphasises the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
