General Description

Winglets on the motorcycle improve noticeably improve handling. The downforce on the front wheel is increased, making the motorcycle more stable during acceleration and deceleration. To further enhance this effect on the Tuono, we have noticeably and visibly widened the original multi-stage winglets. This not only makes the motorcycle look even more aggressive, but it also handles even better on street.
To achieve a particularly harmonious overall appearance, the fibre layers are expertly laid and aligned in the mould. This ensures the carbon part nestles perfectly into the surrounding shapes of the motorcycle. The more of our parts that are installed and combined, the more stunning the result.
For our carbon, we exclusively use prepreg fabric produced specifically for this purpose, which is also used in a similar form in Formula 1 and aerospace. The material, elaborately laminated by hand and cured in multiple stages in an autoclave, not only impresses with its unique appearance but also with its unique technical properties. With the same volume, it possesses three times the specific stiffness of steel and, at the same time, due to its exceptionally low density, weighs only a breakage of it. These properties are particularly pronounced in our products due to the high fibre volume content.
To optimally protect this high-quality material against all kinds of influences from the environment, we are the only carbon manufacturer worldwide to use a specially developed plastic coating on all surfaces. In combination with our clear lacquer, this provides an unparalleled and unique depth effect, which particularly emphasises the high quality of the material.
