General Description

Winglets on the motorcycle improve noticeably improve riding behaviour. The pressure on the front wheel is increased, making the motorcycle more stable during acceleration and deceleration. To further enhance this effect on the Tuono, we have noticeably and visibly widened the original multi-stage winglets. This not only makes the motorcycle look even more aggressive, but it also provides even better street. To achieve a particularly harmonious overall appearance, the fibre layers are expertly laid and aligned in the mould. This allows the carbon part to blend perfectly with the surrounding shapes of the motorcycle. The more of our parts that are installed and combined, the more impressive the result. For our carbon, we exclusively use prepreg fabric produced specifically for this purpose, which is also used in a similar form in Formula 1 and aerospace. The material, meticulously laminated by hand and cured in several stages in an autoclave, impresses not only with its unique appearance but also with its exceptional technical properties. It boasts three times the specific stiffness of steel for the same volume and, due to its exceptionally low density, also only a breakage of its weight. These properties are particularly pronounced in our products due to the high fibre volume content. To optimally protect this high-quality material from all types of environmental influences, we, as the world's only carbon manufacturer, use a specially developed plastic coating on all surfaces. This, in combination with our clear coat, creates an unprecedented and unique deep effect, which truly highlights the high quality of the material.
