The carbon windshield for the Streetfighter V2 with a glossy clear coat finish replaces the original part using the original mounting points. All necessary mounts and mounting materials are included.To achieve a particularly harmonious overall appearance, the fibre layers are expertly laid and aligned in the mould. This allows the carbon part to blend perfectly with the surrounding shapes of the motorcycle. The more of our parts that are installed and combined, the more stunning the result.
For our carbon, we exclusively use prepreg fabric produced specifically for this purpose, which is also used in similar form in Formula 1 and aerospace. The material, elaborately laminated by hand and cured in several stages in an autoclave, convinces not only with a unique look but also with its unique technical properties. It has three times the specific stiffness of steel for the same volume and, at the same time, due to its particularly low density, only a breakage of its weight. These properties are particularly pronounced in our products due to the high fibre volume content.
To optimally protect this high-quality material from influencess of all kinds from the environment, we, as the only carbon manufacturer worldwide, use a specially developed plastic coating on all surfaces. In combination with our clear coat, this provides an unprecedented and unique depth effect, which particularly highlights the high quality of the material.
So that not only riding but also fitting is a pleasure, we use only the original mounting points for this part.
