The Ilmberger carbon windshield for the BMW R 1300 GS gives your bike a sporty look while providing a more intense riding experience. Thanks to its lower height compared to the original screen, wind pressure is more noticeable, creating a special dynamic feel while riding. The innovative BDC material is used here, giving the component a completely new and individual touch. The surface of each BDC part is unique and resembles marble. BDC is also laminated by hand at Ilmberger and cured in several stages in an autoclave. The material convinces not only with its exciting appearance but also with its technical properties. The different fibres scatter the incident light and create an unprecedented reflection.

The final clear coat on this component is in the timeless glossy version, emphasising the luxurious and sporty look of the component.

To optimally protect this high-quality material from influences of all kinds from the environment, we, as the world's only carbon manufacturer, use a specially developed plastic coating on all surfaces. In combination with our clear coat, this provides an unprecedented and unique depth effect, which particularly highlights the high quality of the material.
