General description

The Ilmberger Carbon windscreen provides the rider with a small wind screen and relieves the rider's arms while riding. This counteracts premature fatigue. Visually, the windscreen remains subtle and integrates into the design language of the muscle bike. A special highlight is the multi-layer construction, which allows for a beautiful surface – inside and out!
The final clear coat layer comes in the matte version and is identical to the clear coat used on Ducati Performance parts.

For our carbon, we exclusively use prepreg fabric produced specifically for this purpose, which is also used in a similar form in Formula 1 and aerospace. The material, elaborately laminated by hand and cured in several stages in an autoclave hardened, impresses not only with its unique appearance but also with its exceptional technical properties. For the same volume, it possesses three times the specific stiffness of steel and, due to its particularly low density, only a breakage of its weight. These properties are particularly pronounced in our products due to the high fibre volume content.
To optimally protect this high-quality material from all kinds of environmental influences, we, as the only carbon manufacturer worldwide, use a specially developed plastic coating on all surfaces. In combination with our clear coat, this provides an unprecedented and unique depth effect, which particularly highlights the high quality of the material.

So that not only riding but also assembly is a pleasure, we use only the original mounting points for this part.
