General Description

The carbon windscreen for the BMW S 1000 R from 2021 and M 1000 R from 2023 replaces the original component using the original mounting points.

To achieve a particularly harmonious overall appearance, the fibre layers are expertly laid and aligned in the mould. This ensures the carbon part integrates perfectly with the surrounding shapes of the motorcycle. The more of our parts are fitted and combined, the more impressive the result.
For our carbon, we exclusively use pre-preg fabric specifically produced for this purpose, which is also used in a similar form in Formula 1 and aerospace. The material, meticulously hand-laminated and cured in several stages in an autoclave, not only offers a unique appearance but also boasts exceptional technical properties. For the same volume, it has three times the specific stiffness of steel and, due to its exceptionally low density, only a breakage of its weight. These properties are particularly pronounced in our products due to the high fibre volume content.
To optimally protect this high-quality material from influences of all kinds from the environment, we, as the only carbon manufacturer worldwide, use a specially developed plastic coating on all surfaces. In combination with our clear lacquer, this creates an unprecedented and unique depth effect, which truly highlights the high quality of the material.
To make not only riding but also fitting a pleasure, we use only the original mounting points for this part.
