The Ilmberger Carbon Windscreen for the BMW R 1300 GS gives your bike a sporty look while providing a more intense riding experience. Thanks to its lower height compared to the original screen, the wind pressure is more noticeable, creating a special dynamic when riding. The innovative BDC material is used here, giving the component a completely new and individual touch. The surface of each BDC part is unique and resembles marble. The BDC is also hand-laminated by Ilmberger and cures in several stages in an autoclave. The material impresses not only with its exciting appearance but also with its technical properties. The different fibres scatter the incident light and create an unprecedented reflection.

The final clear coat on this component is in the silk-matt version and underlines the luxuriously sporty look of the component.

To optimally protect this high-quality material from all types of environmental influencess, we, as the only carbon manufacturer worldwide, use a specially developed plastic coating on all surfaces. This, in combination with our clear coat, provides an unprecedented and unique depth effect, which particularly highlights the high quality of the material.
