General description

The wheel cover improve the aerodynamics of the motorcycle. The airflow at the front wheel becomes less turbulent and can thus flow better to the parts behind it. This not only reduces air resistance but also, for example, allows the radiator to be supplied with better airflow.

The Wheel Cover Kit includes one wheel cover per side, as well as the necessary brackets. For installation, the front wheel must be removed.

For its carbon products, Ilmberger Carbon exclusively uses prepreg fabric produced specifically for this purpose, which is also used in a similar form in Formula 1 and aerospace. The material, painstakingly laminated by hand and hardened in several stages in an autoclave, convinces not only with its unique appearance but also with its unique technical properties. It possesses three times higher specific stiffness than steel for the same volume and, at the same time, due to its particularly low density, only a breakage of its weight. These properties are particularly pronounced in our products due to the high fibre volume content.
To optimally protect this high-quality material from all types of environmental influences, Ilmberger Carbon, as the only carbon manufacturer worldwide, uses a specially developed plastic coating on all surfaces. In combination with our clear coat, this provides an unprecedented and unique depth effect, which particularly highlights the high quality of the material.

To ensure that not only riding but also tinkering is a pleasure, we use exclusively the original mounting points for this part.
