The carbon water pump cover for the Ducati Monster 1200 / 1200 S from model year 2017 replaces the original component using the original mounting points.The focus is on weight saving (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and increased rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured completely from Prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and in the next step, as is customary with us, coated with a clear plastic coating for protection against environmental influences.
This plastic coating significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. However, the coating not only scores technically, but also clearly emphasises the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
