Carbon valve cover left side L/S - BMW R nineTThe very robust yet under 500-gram lightweight valve cover give the BMW Boxer an absolute high-tech look! It's the crowning glory for the air/oil-cooled BMW Boxer!
The carbon valve cover is screwed onto existing mounting points on the vehicle. The parts are mounted using the original mounting points. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, as is customary for us, subsequently coated with a clear plastic coating for protection against environmental influences. This plastic coating far exceeds the protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability of conventional clear lacquer. But the coating not only scores technically, it also significantly enhances the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
