Product details
Ilmberger Carbon uppere fuel tankcover, Carbon for BMW R1200GS (LC), with ABE according to the usage listGeneral description
The carbon uppere fuel tankcover for the BMW R1200GS (LC) not only completes a bike fully clad in carbon, but also looks very good on its own on the GS. The weight of the carbon uppere central fuel tankcover for the R1200GS 2013 is only approx. 230 grams! This product replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The focus is on weight saving (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and higher rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured completely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, as is customary for us, coated with a clear plastic finish in the next step to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance and durability. But the coating not only scores points technically, it also significantly enhances the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.| Manufacturer | Model | Additional designation | Type | Model year | Homologation | ccm |
