General description

The carbon fairing mid-section for the BMW M 1000 RR from model year 2021 replaces the original component using the original mounting points.

This item uses the round clips for mounting the cockpit cover. It is compatible with item IC-IAO.005.S121S.K

The focus is on weight saving (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and increased stiffness. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, as is customary for us, subsequently coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating far surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. However, the coating not only scores technically, but also significantly enhances the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
