Product Details

Ilmberger carbon under frame left side L/S cover, gloss carbon, with ABE according to the usage list, for Ducati Panigale V2, from model year 2020-

General Description

The carbon under frame left side L/S cover in gloss for the Ducati Panigale V2. The carbon part replaces the original component using the original mounting points.

To achieve a particularly harmonious overall appearance, the fibre layers are expertly laid into the mould and aligned. This ensures the carbon part perfectly integrates with the surrounding contours of the motorcycle. The more of our parts that are installed and combined, the more impressive the result.
For our carbon, we exclusively use prepreg fabric produced specifically for this purpose, which is also used in a similar form in Formula 1 and aerospace. The material, meticulously laminated by hand and cured in an autoclave in several stages, not only impresses with a unique look but also with its exceptional technical properties. It possesses three times the specific stiffness of steel for the same volume, and at the same time, due to its particularly low density, only a breakage of its weight. These properties are particularly pronounced in our products due to the high fibre volume content.
To optimally protect this high-quality material from all kinds of environmental influences, we use a specially developed plastic coating on all surfaces, unique among carbon manufacturers worldwide. In combination with our clear coat, this provides an unprecedented and unique depth effect, which highlights the high quality of the material particularly strongly.
So that not only riding, but also fitting, is a pleasure, we only use the original mounting points for this part.
