The two-person seat in carbon, including the lower seat fairing, for Ducati models 848/1098/1198 replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The focus is on weight reduction (typically around 70% savings compared to the original component) and increased rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from Prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and then, as is customary for us, coated with a clear plastic finish for protection against environmental influences. This plastic finish significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability.
