General description

The upper fuel tank cover in carbon for the BMW S1000RR (2010-2014) / HP 4 (2012-current) replaces the original component using the original mounting points. This eye-catcher, alongside the carbon fuel tank side panels, is a must-have for any S1000RR! The focus is on weight saving (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and higher rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from pre-preg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, in the next step, as is customary for us, coated with a clear plastic coating for protection against environmental influences. This plastic coating vastly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. However, the coating not only impresses technically but also significantly enhances the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
