The toothed belt, timing belt cover in carbon for the Ducati Monster 1200 engines replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The focus is on weight saving (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and higher rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from pre-preg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and then, as is usual for us, coated with a clear plastic coating to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating enormously surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But the coating not only scores technically; it also significantly accentuates the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure. With ABE (General Operating Permit).
