The toothed belt, timing belt cover for the horizontal cylinder, made of carbon and with a glossy finish for the Ducati Diavel 1260 from model year 2019 onwards, is screwed onto existing mounting points on the vehicle.The parts are mounted using original mounting points. The carbon part was manufactured completely from Prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and in the next step, as is customary with us, coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating enormously surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in its protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But the coating not only scores technically, it also clearly enhances the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
