The racing seat in carbon for the BMW S1000RR can be used in conjunction with the standard seat cushion. This allows the seating position on the vehicle to be easily varied by adding or removing padding, adapting it to the rider's needs. No modifications to the rear are necessary to mount, fit, assemble our racing seat. This product replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The focus is on weight saving (typically a saving of approximately 70% compared to the original component) and increased rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, as is customary for us, subsequently coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences. This plastic finish significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability.
