The carbon tail fairing for the left side, in a glossy finish, for the Ducati XDiavel (from MY 2016) is screwed onto existing mounting points on the vehicle. The Ilmberger carbon tail fairing replaces the original plastic component and gives the vehicle, especially the already very sporty and short-cut rear section, the finishing touch! Incidentally, our carbon part weighs only about 80g and thus contributes not only visually but also to the increased performance of the XDiavel. In its glossy finish, the Ilmberger carbon part contrasts with the matt carbon parts offered by Ducati Performance. The carbon part was manufactured completely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, as is customary for us, subsequently coated with a clear plastic coating for protection against environmental influences. This plastic coating enormously surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability.
