General description
The left carbon swingarm cover with a gloss finish for the Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade (SP), Type SC82, model year from 2020-, replaces the original component using the original mounting points.The focus is on weight saving (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and higher rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and then, as is usual for us, coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating enormously surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance and durability. But the coating not only scores technically, it also significantly enhances the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
