General Description

The carbon swingarm cover for the left side, featuring our unique design for the Honda CBR 1000 RR Fireblade 2017, integrates perfectly into the overall appearance of the motorcycle. Whether stone chips, boots or paddock stands – a motorcycle swingarm can sometimes take a lot of abuse. A high-quality brushed aluminium swingarm, as installed on the new Fireblade, particularly deserves proper protection. And not just in the event of a crash, but also, or especially, in everyday use. The cover is attached to the swingarm with pre-assembled adhesive strips and at standard screw points. It covers all critical areas and is so precisely cut that, for example, the chain adjuster remains easily accessible.

This product replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The focus is on weight reduction (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and increased rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, as is customary for us, subsequently coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences.
This plastic coating enormously surpasses the usual clear lacquer finish in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But the coating not only scores technically, it also clearly enhances the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
