The matt finish sprocket cover for the Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade (SP), type SC82, model year from 2020 onwards, replaces the original component using the original mounting points.The main focus is on weight saving (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and increased stiffness. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from pre-preg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, as is customary for us, subsequently coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer finish in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But the coating doesn't just score points technically; it also clearly enhances the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
