The carbon sprocket cover for the Ducati Monster 1200 and 1200 S from model year 2017 is supplied with a glossy painted surface, thus integrating perfectly into the overall appearance of original Ducati and Ducati Performance parts. The sprocket cover replaces the original component using the original mounting points.The focus is on weight savings (typically savings of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and increased rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and then, as is customary for us, coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating significantly surpasses conventional clear lacquer in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. However, the coating not only scores technically but also significantly enhances the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
