Carbon side panel under the fuel tank right side R/S - BMW R 1250 RS from model year 2019This product replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The focus is on weight saving (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and higher rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and then, as is usual for us, coated with a clear plastic coating for protection against environmental influences. This plastic coating enormously surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance and durability. But the coating not only scores technically, it also significantly enhances the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
