Carbon side panel under the fuel tank left side L/S - BMW R 1250 RS (LC) from model year 2019This product replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The focus is on weight saving (typically approx. 70% saving compared to the original component) and increased rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured completely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, as is customary for us, subsequently coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences. This plastic finish enormously surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But the coating not only scores points technically; it also significantly enhances the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
