Ilmberger Carbon Side Cover under the fuel tank left side L/S, Carbon for BMW R1200R (LC) (from model year 2015-), with ABE according to the usage list

General description

Side Cover under the fuel tank left side L/S Carbon - BMW R1200R (LC) from 2015 The lower fuel tank cover / intake pipe cover in carbon for the BMW R1200R (LC) from 2015 is significantly larger than the original covers. They not only offer more protection, but the view of gas lines and cables is also restricted with the help of these carbon parts, making the Motronic appear tidier. This product replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The focus is on weight saving (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and higher rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, as is customary for us, then coated with a clear plastic coating for protection against environmental influences. This plastic coating enormously surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But the coating not only scores technically, it also clearly accentuates the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
