Ilmberger Carbon Side Cover Radiator Trim right side R/S, gloss carbon, with ABE according to application list, for BMW S1000XR, Type 2X99, Model Year 2020-2023General Description
The right carbon side cover for the radiator trim for the BMW S 1000 XR from model year 2020 replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The main advantages are weight saving (typically around 70% saving compared to the original component) and increased stiffness. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and then, as is customary for us, coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But the coating not only scores points technically; it also clearly enhances the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
