Ilmberger Carbon Seat Fairing, glossy carbon, without street approval, for Ducati Panigale V4 /S/R 2019-General Description
The seat fairing is designed as a single piece and can be combined with the original seat cushion. The high-gloss surface emphasises the sporty character of the Panigale V4 / V4 S Racing. The carbon seat fairing for the Ducati Panigale V4 / V4 S Racing replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The focus is on weight saving (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and higher stiffness. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and then, as is usual for us, coated with a clear plastic coating for protection against environmental influences. This plastic coating enormously surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But the coating not only scores technically, it also significantly enhances the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
