General description
The carbon rear mudguard with a glossy finish for the Honda CBR 1000 RR-R/SP from MY 2020 replaces the original component using the original mounting points.The focus is on weight saving (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and higher rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, as is customary for us, subsequently coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating far surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But the coating not only excels technically; it also significantly accentuates the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
