The rear tyre of the Ducati Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak, expertly showcased by the distinctive single-sided swingarm, gives the motorcycle a dynamic and powerful appearance. To visually enhance and technically complement this, the Ilmberger Carbon rear hugger plays a key role. It not only offers optimal splash protector but also perfectly harmonises with the single-sided swingarm, completing the overall look of the motorcycle and emphasising its power, performance strength. The matt clear lacquer finish, matching the Ducati Performance parts, perfectly completes the appearance.Our carbon, exclusively made from specially manufactured prepreg fabric, is also used in Formula 1 and aerospace. This material, meticulously handcrafted and hardened in an autoclave, impresses not only visually but also with its excellent technical properties. For the same volume, it is three times stiffer than steel and significantly lighter, thanks to its low density. These properties are particularly pronounced in our products due to the high fibre volume content.
To optimally protect the high-quality material, we, as the world's only carbon manufacturer, use a specially developed plastic coating on all surfaces. This coating, in combination with our clear lacquer, creates a unique deep effect and highlights the quality of the material.
Installation is simple and user-friendly thanks to the use of original mounting points, making fitting as enjoyable as riding itself.
